Changelog 078: Clearer, Transparent Water

The ocean now looks through — transparent water, real refraction, and a visible seabed near shore.

Before and after of the VibeSail title screen: milky flat water on the left, clear refractive water with a visible seabed on the right.

The big visual change is the water itself. It is no longer a flat milky sheet — you can look through it.

Near islands and shallow shore, the seabed and rocks show under the surface. Light bends through the waves with refraction and clearer reflections, so the sea feels deeper and more alive from the title screen to open water.

  • Transparent water with refraction instead of a washed-out surface.
  • Seabed and underwater rocks visible when you sail close to land.
  • Clearer horizons and richer sun on the water.
  • Graphics quality in Settings: Low, Medium, or High — same sailing feel, pick the look that fits your device. High keeps the full water detail.

Head toward an island shoreline and glance down through the water — that visible bottom is the giveaway.
